It follows a single-lap route through quiet country villages in the Vale of the White Horse, a corner of England named after the intriguing horse figure cut into the area's striking chalk hillside. At around 3,000 years old and 374 feet long, the Bronze Age spectacle - Britain's oldest and most famous hill figure - is an epic backdrop to this beautiful race.Chip timing is incorporated into the race numbers for this event.Cash prizes of £70, £50, £30 for first 3 men and first 3 women; other non-cash prizes in age categories and for teams (first 4 to score for men, 3 for ladies).The event is likely to be one of the events included in the Oxfordshire AA Road Race Grand Prix (TBC).
