Finish 2026 with a brand new PB and celebrate the arrival of the new year with a glass of fizz and a healthy twist at our New Year's Eve running extravaganza.The single lap course starts and finishes in Highfield Park and runs out along the flat and tree lined disused railway line called the Alban Way, towards Hatfield before making a loop via Sleapshyde and returning along the Alban Way. The route is on tarmac, with a grass finish field and most of the course is traffic-free.Finish the year off with a new PB, your club mates by your side & a glass of fizz.Lace up your trainers and start the countdown to a healthier, happier you.Make it a family event and all join in the FREE Children's Fun Run, which will take place just before the 10K start (no need to book!) You can use it as your warm up!We will have live music, a bar and Cow juice Coffee van supplying refreshments, all to keep your friends and family entertained whilst they wait for you to cross that finish line. By taking part in the ATW St Albans New Year's Eve 10K, you'll enjoy a great running route with a well-marked course, amazing support from our friendly marshals, and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. Every runner will be treated to free event photos, a custom-designed medal, finish line snacks & goodies, and a glass of celebratory fizz to toast the year in style – all backed by glowing reviews from previous participants!
